An inability to relax can occur for many different reasons. We will listen to you, discover the root cause and plan the best management plan for you.

Here at Optimal Osteopathy, we understand that not being able to relax can be extremely stressful and taxing on the body. It is clear that mechanical aches and pains can occur if an inability to relax persists for a long period of time.

Our role as Osteopaths is to take the weight off your shoulders, even if its for a brief moment. It can make a world of difference.

You will be welcomed into a warm, safe and peaceful environment where the appointment is all about you.

Your Osteopath will work with you, listen to what you have to say and dictate the appointment through the information you relay to us.

The first appointment is 1 hour and any follow ups are 30 minutes. We offer these slots to ensure that we have more than enough time to cover all ground and maximise treatment benefits

During treatment, your Osteopath will use hands-on techniques such as deep soft tissue massage and breathing exercises to give your body and mind the best possible chance to relax and enjoy the experience.

We take pride  in our ability as Osteopaths to tailor our treatments differently to meet your needs. We will also give you some advise you may have not considered before to help you whilst you're either at home, work or even trying to get to sleep. Furthermore, we may send you specific exercises using our specialist exercise software for you to do in the comfort of your own home or at the GYM.

Although we cannot change some of the things which may be a part of what's causing your symptoms, it is important to focus on what we can change. These may include what you do in your spare time, your diet and other lifestyle factors. These, with a combination of hands-on manual techniques to relax the body, Osteopathy can help your body cope with the tensions life builds up.
